Realtor Association of Pioneer Valley has issued statistics for May 2017 . The entire Pioneer Valley saw sales decline by 6.9% for the month of May 2017 vs. May 2016. In Hampden County, which includes Chicopee and Springfield, sales were down 7.4%. However, the median price was up 1.2% and 1.9% respectively.
The days on the market dropped, pending sales were up and inventory was down, all pointing to a vigorous housing market! Interest rates are still hovering around 4%, which is great historically.
